문법 Grammar

명사 Nouns

- 명사는 사람, 장소, 물건, 생각 등을 묘사하는 단어

- A Noun is a word that descirbes a person, place, thing, or idea

 

보통명사와 고유명사

 

보통명사 Common Nouns

- 일반적인 개념 General Notion

- city, frog, river, mountain

 

고유명사 Proper Nouns

- 구체적인 개념 Specific Notion

- 항상 대문자로 시작 Capitalized

- Chicago, Kermit, Nile, Kilimanjaro

 

구상명사와 추상명사

 

구상명사 Concrete Nouns

-  con(together, with) + cretus(grown, create) ⇒ Physical

- Physical object in thre real world.

- dog, ball, cilff

 

추상명사 Abstract Nouns

- ad(away) + stract(drawn) ⇒ Not Physical

- An idea or concept that does not exist in the real world

- Sadness, happiness, freedom, permission

 

단순명사와 복수명사

 

단순명사 Singular Nouns

- Single

 

복수명사 Plural Nouns

- Plus

- 단순명사 뒤에 -s를 붙여 변환 (규칙)

 

불규칙 복수명사 Irregular Plural Nouns
